Taking impressions of your teeth will assist the clinician in determining which dental appliance will best suit your specific needs.

2. Placing and adjusting an appliance:

Upon placement, you will be shown how and when to use and clean the appliance. After the placement of the appliance you will be required to visit the clinic once a month for adjustments. Depending on your dental situation you may be required to make additional visits in order for us to monitor the progress of the treatment.

3. Removal of the appliance & the retention period (completion of treatment):

When good dentition and a normal bite are obtained, the appliance will be removed and your teeth will be stabilized. This final stage is the "retention period", during which you will visit us every 2-4 months. At end of the retention period the treatment is completed.
