There are two treatment
methods for patients who have insufficient permanent teeth.
The first method is to fill in the gaps or replace the damaged
teeth with artificial teeth. The second method is to move
the unerupted permanent teeth into the oral cavity using
an orthodontic appliance. If the gaps are left untreated,
the teeth adjacent to the gap will occupy the space and
cause malocclusion. This may make it impossible to fill
the gap with artificial teeth. If this should occur, then
the adjacent teeth will need to be moved back into their
correct position. We recommend that you consult an orthodontic
specialist as soon as possible.
(We accept
patients seeking consultation only.)
